The Hello Kitty Classic ez-link Cards will be launched first on 29 October 2013 on and four designs will be exclusively available at selected TransitLink Ticket Offices.

Your EZ-Link card is valid for use for 5 years from the date of issue. From 1 Nov 2016, a Refund Service Charge of $1 will be charged per month for EZ-Link cards that have expired for 2 years or more. It will be deducted from the remaining stored value (if any), until the card is refunded or fully depleted.
In most cases you'll see the EZ-Link sign everywhere it is accepted for payments.

You can apply at any TransitLink Ticket Office / Concession Card Replacement Office or apply online at TransitLink website under Application for Tertiary Student Concession Card (Diploma Student).

All EZ-Link cards expire after 5 years. You can bring your expiring/expired EZ-Link card to any TransitLink Ticket Office by 31 Dec 2020 to get a 1-for-1 replacement for $3. They'll also refund any leftover value inside the expired EZ-Link card.
Get a refund or transfer of value for your EZ-Link/NETS FlashPay cards at any TransitLink Ticket Office if you have lost or damaged your card. Visit any TransitLink Ticket Office and present your card to terminate EZ-Reload for refund.
To use the service, commuters simply tap the fare gantries or card readers with their Mastercard or mobile phone, which must already have Apple Pay, Fitbit Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay installed.

How do I top up my PAssion card?

Top-up at selected locations & ticketing machines
  1. Go to a Add Value Machine at the mrt station.
  2. Place your PAssion Silver Card Senior Citizen card on the card reader.
  3. Tap on the word “Merdeka” on the screen.
  4. Press Redeem All.
  5. Wait 15 secs.
  6. Top up completed. You may tap on the word 'receipt' if you want it.
How to top up your Ez-Link Credit/Debit Card
  1. Insert your ATM/Debit/Credit Card.
  2. Key in your 6-Digit Card PIN.
  3. Select More Services followed by NETS FlashPay/Cashcard/Ez-link/Concession Card.
  4. Select Ez-link card followed by Continue.
  5. Select Top-up and select the Account you wish to use.

Is it worth it to buy Singapore Tourist Pass?

It reminded me of Japan's JR Pass, which gives tourists unlimited travels around the country. Though a little expensive, the JR Pass is well worth the cost, especially with the unlimited, costly shinkansen rides.
The ez-link card is used to pay the exact fare for every journey made on the public transport system. The Singapore Tourist Pass comes with a fixed cost per day (S$10 for 1-Day Pass, S$16 for 2-Day Pass and S$20 for 3-Day Pass).

Can I pay cash for MRT in Singapore?

If you are taking the MRT or LRT train, you can use cash to buy a standard ticket that can be used for single or return trips. A maximum of two trips can be bought on the card at a time and these trips are only valid on the day of the ticket purchase.

Can you pay cash on Singapore Bus?

You can pay for your bus fare using an adult stored value smartcard (EZ-link / Nets FlashPay) or the Singapore Tourist Pass (STP). You can also opt to pay in cash, but make sure you have the exact amount in change. Do note that admin fees apply for foreign-issued bank cards.
