How do I get from Naples to Positano by train?

This place gets booked out months in advance and during peak season it's usually completely full. Most hotels in Positano are very expensive due to the limited supply.

Positano is the winner here. True, it is much harder to get to the beach. You need to walk down the entire town to get to it, but you will have amazing views the all way through. This beach is not sandy, however much less crowded and less expensive if you decide to rent any sun bed.

Driving is one of the quickest ways to get to Positano, if you don't hit too much traffic. Since we lived in Naples and owned a car, we often drove to Positano. There are several parking lots and I've noted a few on the map below.

It's actually the birthplace of the original wood-fired Neopolitan pizza, making the city worth a visit for die-hard pizza fans. Naples is also home to one of Italy's best archaeological museums: the National Archaeological Museum.

There is a 37 miles distance to drive from Positano to Naples. If you want to go to Naples by car, consider that it will take around 1 hour.

Additionally, only Uber Black is available, meaning higher prices and nicer vehicles. If you don't mind the slight price increase, then Uber is perfectly safe to use in Italy.
