In respect to this, when should you cold call?
According to this, the optimal time for cold calling is between 8 and 9 a.m. in the morning and 4 and 5 p.m. at night. (I'd like to add that you'll be far more effective with a "warm call," i.e. one that's personalized to the recipient and their situation.)
Likewise, is it rude to call at 8pm? It is simply rude to text or call someone after 9pm — yes, 9pm is the cut-off, and no, that time cannot be moved. And further to that rule — you should not call or text anyone before 8am on weekdays and 10am on weekends (for Sundays, it's closer to 11am).
Then, how late is too late call?
The number one answer was 8 pm, number 2 was a tie both 9 pm and 10 pm. Others said they text at night if it's too late that person will not text back. Most websites said 8 or 8:30 pm was late enough to make a phone call and cited either people are in bed, watching tv or having family time.
Are cold calls dead?
Cold calling is not dead, and inbound marketers are doing it all the time. But in the age of inbound marketing, the way that we practice cold calling has evolved. And in order to market and sell your product successfully, you need to engage with your prospects in the same way that they're engaging with you.
