I came across a map and when I was playing I found some coloured and bolded item names. I thought it isn’t possible as at most you can only use the custom name tag to rename things! Oh that’s odd. It removed the name. It’s called “Minecraft JSON”. It’s a website that generates a /give command that will give you a sign with the colors, bolds, strikethroughs, etc. that you fill out. It also works with /tellraw /execute and other Minecraft commands that use the JSON format. –

Removing the plugin will not remove the minecraft scoreboard teams, so player colors will still show. You need to open your world folder and delete the scoreboard.dat. Make sure your server is offline when making a change like this.
