Then, does Final Fantasy 6 hold up?
IV-VI hold up really well. It totally does. The newer versions haven't really added that much content or improvements to the game and the things that they did add never really felt essential to enjoy it, so the Snes version feels complete even after playing the newer ones.
Also Know, is Final Fantasy IV worth playing? but I would recommend it as most of what you see in at least 5–10 started in this game. It has a great great story, great characters, it's challenging (final dungeon is a killer if you aren't prepared), and the ending shows what the characters does after the game is over.
Keeping this in consideration, how many hours is Final Fantasy 6?
If you played it as fast as possible, you're probably looking at around 15 - 20 hours. Probably about 30-40. I've never done the new content though, that might add at least another 10 or more depending on how grindy you have to get for it.
Is Final Fantasy 3 and 6 the same?
Final Fantasy VI, also known as Final Fantasy III from its marketing for its initial North American release in 1994, is a role-playing video game developed and published by Japanese company Square for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
