E85 will require about 30% more fuel than regular gasoline to achieve the same power levels. For example, where a 550cc injector would normally be appropriate, you will need a 700cc injector for E85. The E85 Quality Quotient.
Just so, do you need bigger injectors to run e85?
But because E85 requires much more fuel volume, you'll also need to upgrade your fuel system too. But you'll need at least bigger injectors to handle that fuel volume, and custom tuning to deal with the new squirters (see “E85 Tuning” sidebar below).
Secondly, does e85 Clean injectors? FYI--E85 does NOT eat rubber or cause problems with the fuel system. That's a myth. That's good that it worked to clean up your fuel system. It's not a myth, however that it will eat rubber hoses and corrode your fuel system.

- Fuel lines and hoses, especially inside the tank.
- O-rings and seals in the injectors, filters, couplings, and sending unit.
- Fuel Pressure Regulator.
- Fuel Filters, Stainless mesh filters are best.
- The Fuel Injectors and The Fuel Pump need to be compatible with E85 and sized to deliver more fuel.
