Why can’t i buy minecraft with visa

Can’t Buy Minecraft, Visa Debit Card. I’ve seen a bunch of other people having similar problems, but no one seems to have a fix. I just read a topic where a guy tried using PayPal, but that got declined too.

Go and make a moneybookers.com account, but dont add money in it. When you go to buy Minecraft, choose moneybookers as a payment option, and enter your card number. It should work, as it was how i bought Cobalt with a Vanilla Visa. 1.

You cannot make a purchase from outside of the US using a credit or debit card issued in the US. Due to US law, many or all prepaid debit cards (such as Visa Vanilla) purchased in the US will not work for purchases in our online store, as Mojang is located outside of the US. Chuck_Bosworth 10 years ago #4. Yeah, your card probably isn’t allowed to make purchases in foreign countries. It’s to protect against identity theft, but makes it inconvenient for some online purchases. Also, if it’s a visa giftcard, many of them on the back say restricted to the US and Canada.

I installed the game from the Microsoft Store and I can’t buy it. I’m only able to play it as a trial. I am using my Microsoft account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). Here’s the error message (check attached picture as well): Give it another try Something went wrong.
